WHAT IS POP VEGAS?
POP ART + LAS VEGAS = POP VEGASPOP VEGAS began in the Centennial year of the city of Las Vegas, 2005. It started out as an ART PROJECT for the FIRST FRIDAY CENTENNIAL ART SHOW. Artists, lifelong friends, and natives of Las Vegas, Jon and Andre wanted to create a project to really take locals back through history in a humorous way. The art show was a success, not only with locals but with Mayor Goodman and his office as well (read about it in The Review Journal in our PRESS section). We even made it to NEWS 3! We wanted to preserve alot of Vegas history and urban legends in our slogans and imagery while appealing to locals and tourists with our sense of humor.
